Welcome to Barry
We’ve been providing exceptional care to children in Barry and its surrounding areas for over a decade. In 2013, we began offering out of school care as Camp Coconuts, which 5 years later would take over the whole of the former play centre it’s based in.
The nursery is based on 1 floor, with a dedicated cot room for our youngest little ones, and a large enclosed garden easily accessible for lots of outdoor play time. We’re on Sully Moors Road, and open 7:30AM-6:00PM.
The children are cared for in rooms based on their age and development stage. The age ranges are a guide only and children may be allocated into different rooms a bit sooner or a bit later, depending on how ready they are.
Our children are split into Butterflies (0-14MO) and Bluebells (14-21MO), Bumble Bees (21M-2.5YO) and Wise Owls (2.5-3Y), with a natural progression to our sister setting Camp Coconuts just across the car park after their 3rd birthday.
We are pleased to have been awarded the Vale’s Healthy & Sustainable Preschool Scheme Award, and Cardiff and Vale’s Gold Standard Healthy Snack Award. We boast a food hygiene score of 5, and are currently working towards an accreditation in the Curiosity Approach.
